Larry Jones

Larry Clinton Jones, 61, of Holts Summit, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2012, at his home. He was born June 8, 1951, the son of Dorris H. and Margaret (Sparks) Jones. He married Carolyn Dusenberry on August 8, 1986. She survives at their home. Larry enjoyed all sports, learning about Native American culture, Pow Wows, and spending time with his family and friends. He retired March 31, 2009, from the State of Missouri Office of Administration. Along with his wife and parents, Larry is survived by one son, Brian (Diann) Jones of Middletown, De.; two daughters, Sheila (Joe) Bradley of Clark, and Christen Knehans of Jefferson City; two step-sons, Douglas (Kim) Leffert of St. Louis and Donald (Robyn) Leffert of Las Vegas, Nv.; six grandchildren; and two sisters, Brenda (Bruce) Maddox of New Bloomfield and Glenda (David) Clyman of Nevada, Mo. Larry's wishes were to be cremated. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m., until the time the celebration of life at 1 p.m., on October 30, 2012, at Dixie Christian Church in New Bloomfield.
