Harold Dean Moore

Harold Dean "Hoss" Moore Sr., 79, of Auxvasse, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2019 at his home. Harold was born on March 24, 1940 in Montgomery County, the son of Mangus and Minnie Price Bell (Brown) Moore. On June 24, 1967 in Mexico, he married Barbara Ann Davis. Mr. Moore worked for Kaisers/National Refractories for 42 years. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. Harold could be found playing games like dominoes, Aggravation, cards, and washers, or even dancing. Eating vanilla ice cream and having a strawberry milkshake were a part of his enjoyments too. Above all, spending time with his family was the greatest joy. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Moore of the home; five children, Rhonda (Gary) Cundiff of Fulton, Russell (Paula) Moore Sr. of Fulton, Harold Dean Lucky (LeEtta) Moore Jr. of Kingdom City, Gary Butch (Tutti) Dillion of Higbee, and John (Sally) Dillion of Mexico; 13 grandchildren, Ashley (Jeremy) Giboney of Fulton, Grant (Kayla) Cundiff of Republic, Rebbeca (Brandon) Matteson of Fulton, Russell Dean Moore Jr. of Kentucky, Derrick Dudley of Fulton, Zack (Kyla) Moore of Mexico, Jordan Moore of Eldon, Hunter Moore of Kingdom City, Mitchell Justus of Kingdom City, Shelby Robb of Kingdom City, Wyatt Clark of Kingdom City, Ted (Tara) Dillion of Higbee and Tori Dillion of Higbee; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Richard Moore of Fulton and Mangus (Peggy) Moore Jr. of Auxvasse; and one sister, Beulah Craghead of Auxvasse. Harold was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Manley, Leslie and James Moore; and four sisters, Ella Mae Beasley, Edna Beasley, Dorothy Dillard and Alma Moore. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 28, at Arnold Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Crowson officiating. Burial will follow in Auxvasse Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the donors choice. They may be sent in care of Arnold Funeral Home, 425 S.
