Mary R. Zolin

Mary R. Zolin, 88, of Fulton, passed away on Friday, February 15, 2019, at Villa at Blue Ridge in Columbia. She was born on January 25, 1931, in Fulton, the daughter of the late Albert F. Potts and the late Bertha (Allen) Potts Allen. Mary was united in marriage to John A. Zolin in 1964. He preceded her in death in 1991. Mary spent her life caring for her family. She enjoyed word search puzzles, watching Western movies, gardening, and tending to her flowers. Mary was an avid Atlanta Braves fan. Those remaining to mourn her passing include sons, Leslie Halsey (Diane) of Arizona; Leroy Halsey of Fulton; Roy L. Halsey (Mary) of Fulton; John Zolinski (Sarah) of Greenwood, Neb.; and Albert Zolin (Sandy) of Fulton; 16 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Along with her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by daughter, Rita Simmons. Mary was the last survivor of 10 siblings. Services will be held at a later date.
