Sara Arlene White

Sara Arlene White, 80, of Fulton, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2019, at Jefferson City Manor in Jefferson City, Missouri. Sara was born on February 17, 1939, in Fulton to the late William and Beatrice McVey Atkinson.  She had been married to Bert Thompson who preceded her in death and then to Manley White who preceded her in death in 2018. Sara attended Fulton Public Schools and then devoted her life to being a strong and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She especially enjoyed decorating for Christmas and traveling. She is survived by her son, Kenny (Kim) Thompson of Holts Summit, Missouri; grandchildren, Corey (Susan) Thompson and Leanna (Aaron) Knight; step-grandchildren, Carly Hammond and Alec Miller; great-grandchildren, Ethan Thompson, Ava Thompson, Kasen Knight and Koen Knight; step-great-grandchildren, Reagan Miller and Dylan Miller along with nieces and nephews, Sherry, Kay, Sharilee and Rocky. Sara was also preceded in death by her son, Corky Thompson; brother, Bill Atkinson; sisters, Myrtle Maddox and Marcie Atkinson and nephew, Chuck Maddox. No services are planned at this time.
