Mildred Fay Keeney

Mildred Fay Keeney, 84, of Fulton, Missouri passed away on October 12, 2018 at Churchill Terrace. Mildred was born on July 27, 1934 in Americus, Missouri to the late Alvin and Veronica Van Booven Stockhorst. She attended Bridge School and then graduated from St. Martins High School both in Americus. Mildred worked at Fulton State Hospital until her retirement. Mildred was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Fulton and had recently been attending Reform Baptist Church. She loved to work in her garden and she enjoyed reading and cooking. Survivors include her sons, Kenneth Wayne Keeney of Fulton and Kevin Dale (Debra) Keeney of Mexico, Missouri; sister, Marjorie Morland; grandchildren, Kaleb Keeney and his fiancé, Kaeleigh Jackson of Houston, Texas, Kelly Keeney of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Mercedes (Josh) Devlin of St. Peter's, Missouri; great-grandchildren, Sidney and Tristan Devlin and her friends and care givers from Churchill Terrace. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Marie Schmidt and her brother, Virgil Stockhorst. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 16, 2018, at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton. Entombment will follow at Callaway Memorial Gardens in Fulton. The family will receive guests from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
