Carl Robert Carver

Carl Robert Carver, 86, of Golden Eagle, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2018, at Jersey Community Hospital. He was born May 5, 1932, in Wentworth, Mo., the son of Carl Finis and Dona (Dilworth) Carver. Carl married Regina M. (Deken) on December 22, 1956, in Rolla, Mo. She survives. Carl was a U.S. Navy Veteran and served in the Seabees from 1951 to 1955, and then graduated from Missouri School of Mines and Metallurgy where he earned a degree in engineering. Carl worked as a fraud investigator independently and at Shelter Insurance in Columbia, Mo. Carl is survived by five children: Cecile (Dean) McPeak, Karla (Randy) Beck, Gretchen (Chris) Beatty, Paul (Kelly Street) Carver, and Heidi Carver; seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by his brother Elvin Dale Carver and his sister Susan Annelle Carver.
