Daisy Ethel Presson

Daisy Ethel Presson, 89, of Wentzville, formerly of Readsville, passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2018. She was born on June 2, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of the late Russell McCafferty and the late Hazel (Sieweke) McCafferty. On December 24, 1946, Daisy was united in marriage to Clarence Presson. He preceded her in death on September 5, 2001. Daisy loved watching the St. Louis Cardinals and spending time with her family. Daisy is survived by a son, Russell Presson (Jean) of Joplin; daughter, Judy Albert (Jeff) of Wentzville; sisters, Virginia Sims of O'Fallon and Mary O'Keefe of St. Charles; grandchildren, Lacy Justice (Tim), Joel Albert (Katy), Leah Presson, Jeana Thorn (Bud), and Bill Austin Jr.; great- grandchildren, Clare Carpenter, Faith Carpenter, Erin Austin (Joey Wamble) , Aubrey Miklich (Mat), Joelee Thorn, and Rylee Thorn; and great-great-grandchildren, Truly Miklich and Sawyer Miklich. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Riley McCafferty; and sisters, Alma Pflueger, Mildred Hammerstone, Cora Agoain, and Edith Muhs. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 9, 2018 at Maupin Home in Fulton with Brother Dennis West officiating. Friends will be received from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Bethel Cemetery.
