Wallace Dean Harris, 90, of Fulton, Missouri, passed away on Monday, May 29, 2017 at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, Missouri. Wallace was born on July 24, 1926 in Fulton to Roy and Myrtle Bruner Harris, who preceded him in death. He was married to Betty Wright on October 15, 1948 in Fulton and she survives. He attended Fulton High School and then began working at International Shoe Factory before retiring in 1981 from Kroger Grocery Store in Fulton. He was a long time member of Central Christian Church near Fulton and he enjoyed owning horses and traveling with his wife, Betty, but his greatest love was spending time with his grandchildren. Wallace is survived by sons, Kirby (Nancy) Harris of Fulton, Darrell (Mary) Harris of Fulton; daughters, Linda (Don) Duffy of Columbia, Donna Andrade and fiancé, Anthony Bush of Fulton; grandchildren, Micah (Amanda) Harris, Tyler (Megan) Harris, Deanne (Danny) Stubblefield, David (Janet) Duffy, Chastity (Jeff) Warrington, Caleb (Gina) Harris, Ricky (Amanda) Lee; great-grandchildren, Mason, Henley, Rylee Mae, Kristopher (Kayla), Teagen, A.J., Jada, Khloe, Devin, Madison, Rylan, Kasen, Jacob, Sheridon; and one great-great-granddaughter, Charlotte. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Boyd, Nelson and Eugene Harris; sisters, Goldie Lee Harris, Mildred Simcoe, Caroline Davis, Fay Bell; and granddaughter, Melissa Leigh. Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, June 2, 2017 at Central Christian Church. The family will receive guests from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Central Christian Church or Central Christian Church Cemetery fund, both in care of Debo Funeral Home, 833 Court Street, Fulton, MO 65251.
