William W. Cuno

William W. Cuno, 83, of Rush Hill, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at his home. William was born July 19, 1933, in Jonesburg, the son of Richard W. and Orlenia (Chaney) Cuno. On Feb. 24, 1952, in Fulton, he married Ellen Jeneane Atterberry. She passed away on June 13, 2007. Mr. Cuno had worked as a machinist for National Refractories, retiring in 1998. He was a charter member of the Kentucky Road Christian Church and loved playing the guitar. Survivors include one daughter, Julia Pottebaum of Mexico; two sons, Larry (Sharon) Cuno of Rush Hill and Quinn (Jane) Cuno of Mexico; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and one sister, Madeline Hoover of Fulton. In addition to his wife, William was preceded in death by two brothers, Rudolph and Fred Cuno; and three sisters, Marie Jaspering, Annie Hoelscher, and Ada Long. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Arnold Funeral Home. Burial will be in Littleby Cemetery. Visitation is Saturday from 12 noon until service time at the funeral home.
