Russell Allen Friedman

Russell Allen Friedman, 90, of Fulton, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at Fulton Nursing and Rehab. Russell was born on July 9, 1926 in St. Louis, Missouri to Maurice and Maurine Allen Friedman, who preceded him in death. He was married to Laura Helvey on August 19, 1950 in St. Louis and she preceded him in death on July 19, 2000. Russell served his country in the United States Navy from 1943-1946 aboard the U.S.S. Pentheus. He worked for many years for Terminal Railroad in St. Louis and was a member of the Fulton Lions Club. Survivors include: son, Mark (Jane) Friedman of Fulton; daughters, Janet (Charles) Kaufman of Houston, Texas and Patricia Friedman of Richmond, Indiana; along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Robert Friedman and Raymond Friedman, and three grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton. Private graveside services will be at Callaway Memorial Gardens.
