Naomi Boone

Naomi "Zeke" Boone, 92, of Fulton, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Fulton Nursing and Rehab. Zeke was born on January 30, 1925 in Reform, Missouri, to Sterling and Bessie Coats Shiverdecker, who preceded her in death. She enjoyed traveling and singing and she worked for The Ovid Bell Press as a proofreader for 46 years until her retirement in 1990. Zeke was a longtime member of Church of God-Holiness in Fulton where she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir. She is survived by several nieces and nephews and two sisters-in-law, Oleta Shiverdecker of Mississippi and Bonnie Shiverdecker of Fulton. Zeke was also preceded in death by brothers, Carl, Coats, Clifford and George H. Shiverdecker; and sisters, Beatrice Bezler, Ruby Garrett, Polly Mae Moore, Treva Fred, Neva McDonald and Mary Jane Salmons. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton. Burial will follow at Callaway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Harmony Hill Youth Camp, in care of Debo Funeral Home, 833 Court Street, Fulton, MO 65251.
