Orla Snow "Buzz" Salmons

Orla Snow "Buzz" Salmons of Auxvasse passed away, on May 22, 2017, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. He was born on Feb. 13, 1947 to the late James G. Salmons and Jessie V. Salmons (Horn). Buzz had several occupations throughout his life. He was a school bus driver, ambulance driver, aide and Fulton State Hospital and worked for Willis Trucking. In his spare time, Buzz enjoyed watching racing, tinkering around in the workshop, and seeing his grandchildren. What gave him the most pride besides his family was serving his country, he was honorably discharged from both Army and Navy. He will be sadly missed by two daughters; Judy Salmons (Brad) and Velvet Reynolds (Jeremy) of Fulton, one son; Cheyne Salmons (Kirstie) of Chehatis, WA, three granddaughters; Amber Hutchason, Chelsey Hutchason, and Brianna Toalson, one brother; Jerry Gilbert (Barb) of New Haven, MO, 3 sisters; Chris Weiser (Vic) of Calwood, MO, Becky Eager of California, and Renee Reynolds (Wayne) of Vandalia, MO. Buzz was preceded in death by three brothers; James Lacy Salmons, J.R. Salmons and Big Jim Salmons, one sister; Erna Blackburn, and ex-wife; Dorothy. Bi-State Cremation and Funeral Service in Florissant MO handled the cremation; however a memorial will be set for a later date.
