Paul Jarrott "Jerry" Wise, 58, of Fulton, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2017, following a valiant battle against cancer. Jerry was born in Fulton on September 20, 1958, the son of the late Robert Nolan Wise and the late Nancy Louise (Goodin) Wise. He was married to Tammy (Stephens) Wise on June 1, 2002. She survives his passing. Until he was no longer able, Jerry worked as a machinist for OCCI Engineering Contractors. He was a member of United Steelworkers. An avid outdoorsman, Jerry loved hunting, fishing, and shooting sports. Those remaining to mourn his passing include: his wife, Tammy, of the home; son, Daniel Lee Wise (Sarah) of Woodland Park, Colo.; daughter, Ashley Christine Weltz (Ryan) of Olathe, Kan.; step-son, Aaron Lewis Stephens of Fulton; brother, Robert Wise of Jefferson City; grandchildren, Ethan, Emily, Michael, and Charlotte; mother and father-in-law, Shirley Mae (Wagers) Stephens and August Henry Stephens of New Bloomfield; sister-in-law, Alice (Stephens) Bennett; brother-in-law, Marvin Bennett; and several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 24, 2017, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Mike Crowson officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
