John Willis Jeffries

John Willis Jeffries, 68, of Fulton, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2017, at his home. John was born February 4, 1949 in Mexico, Missouri, to Don and Ola Love Jeffries, who preceded him in death. He had eight brothers and seven sisters. John married Mary Lee Shipman in 1999 and she also preceded him in death. John served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1969-1971. He worked for the State of Missouri for over 30 years and recently worked at the Fulton Diagnostic and Rehabilitation Center until his retirement. He enjoyed going to garage sales, working in his yard and taking care of his animals, but his greatest love was spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by son, Chad (Mandy) Jeffries of Mexico, Missouri; daughter, Summer Hughes of Fulton and grandchildren, Jamison Jeffries, Trent Jeffries and Cameron Weakley, all of Mexico, Missouri. Memorial services, including Military Honors, will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton. John's family will receive guests from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
