Margie P Donaldson

Margie P. Donaldson, 94, of Mexico, died Saturday, February 4, 2017 at St. Mary's Hospital in Mexico. Margie was born on July 4, 1922 in St. Patrick, Mo., the youngest daughter of Fred and Clara (Riesling) Logsdon. She married Elmer L. Donaldson on November 10, 1946 at St. Patrick Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on July 28, 2013. Her church and family were most important to her and she spent her life being involved with both. She is survived by her four children: Fred (Gay) Donaldson of Mexico, Nancy (Raymond) Fricke of Fulton, Darby Donaldson of Mexico and Darren (Christy) Donaldson of Mexico; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband Elmer, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Michelle; a great-grandson, Bryson; and seven brothers and sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, February 8 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Brendan Catholic Church with Fr. Mark Porterfield officiating. Burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10 11 a.m. at the church. A rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Brendan School, in care of Arnold Funeral Home, 425 S. Jefferson, Mexico, MO 65265.
