Terry L Giboney

Terry L. Giboney, 60, of Kansas City, Missouri, formerly of Auxvasse, passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2017, at Liberty Hospital in Liberty, Missouri. He was born on September 2, 1956, in Fulton, the son of the late Jerry Lee Giboney and the late Peggy (Martin) Sapp. Terry was a graduate of North Callaway High School. He worked as the Call Center Manager for Union Station in Kansas City. Terry was a history buff. He loved any and all history, but especially that concerning the Kansas City Area. He loved horticulture and could tell you anything you wanted to know about flowers. Terry's hobbies and pastimes also included photography, art, and visiting museums. Those remaining to mourn his passing include his step-father, Dean Sapp of Auxvasse; step-mother, Marge Hoffman of Auxvasse; brothers, Steve Giboney (Yolanda), and Jeffrey Sapp (Amanda), all of Kansas City, Mo.; sister, Dana Fifer (David) of Kansas City, Mo.; nephews, Eric Giboney (Rachel), Jeremiah Thornton, Christopher Knipp (Jill), Aaron Moser, Joshua Fifer, and Nicholas Fifer; nieces, Victoria Thornton, and Kayla Moser; great-nephew, Michael Knipp; and great-nephew, Sophia Knipp. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at the funeral home. Private burial will be at a later date at Callaway Memorial Gardens.
