Bernice D. Salmons, 89, of Fulton, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2016, at Fulton Nursing and Rehab in Fulton, Missouri. Bernice was born September 26, 1926, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Thomas James Maddox and Ruth Ladd Maddox. She was united in marriage to Albert Ray Salmons on November 22, 1951, in Fulton, he preceded her in death on September 2, 2016. Bernice loved taking care of her family, she enjoyed babysitting the neighborhood children and cooking for her family. She will be remembered for the love she had for Albert and her family. Bernice and Albert were members of the Church of God Holiness in Fulton. Bernice is survived by sons, Tommy (Vicky) Salmons, Randy (Rachel) Salmons, Ronnie Salmons all of Fulton and Scott (Jada) Salmons of Ashland, Missouri; daughters, Nancy (Kirby) Harris, Sandy (Alvin "Tinky") Neal and Barbara (Steve) Binggeli all of Fulton; brother-inlaw, Joe (Jackie) Salmons of Fulton; sister-in-law, Dorothy (Eugene "Cotton") Vaughan of Fulton and Frances Maddox of Millersburg; 18 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Bernice was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Harold, Wayne and Danny Maddox and one sister, Betty Cunningham. Funeral services for Bernice and Albert Salmons will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 9, 2016, at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton. Burial will follow at Callaway Memorial Gardens in Fulton. Visitation will be from 4-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 8, 2016, at the funeral home.
