Robert Thomas Peneston

Robert Thomas Peneston, 78, of Fulton, Mo., passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia. Robert was born June 2, 1937, at his home in Callaway County to Sherman and Ida Thomas Peneston and they preceded him in death. He was married on July 29, 1989, to Linda Autenrieth in Fulton and she survives. Robert graduated from Fulton High School in 1955 and served in the United States Air Force as a Dental Technician from 1955-1959. He had worked at AP Green for 37 years until his retirement in 2000. He was a member of Carrington Baptist Church and the Fulton Evening Optimist Club. He loved fishing and hunting and was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan. Robert is also survived by: sons, Bob (Dee) Peneston of Fulton and Mark (Sheri) Peneston of Troy, Ill.; daughters, Cindy Peneston and Michelle (Donnie) Smith, all of Fulton; sister, Alberta "Susie" Barrett of Fulton; grandchildren, Avery Peneston, Tristan Peneston, Graysan Peneston, Michael Presley, Joshua Kettle, Tyler Kettle, Maranda Moser, Alexandra Peneston and Jacob Peneston; along with seven great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by brothers, LeRoy, Bill, Herb and George Peneston. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2016, at Debo Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Callaway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
