Samuel French Moser Jr., 53, of Auxvasse passed away on Monday, June 13, 2016, at his home. He was born on March 4, 1963, in St. Louis, Mo., the son of the late Samuel French Moser Sr. and Nancy (Holiday) Moser. On October 2, 1999, Sam was united in marriage to Millie (White) Moser. She survives his passing. Sam enjoyed playing his guitar and listening to music. He sheeped with Angela, sang with Kayla, shot guns with Aaron, and watched and coached Clara in softball. Some of the most memorable times in his life were those spent in the presence of his family and friends. Those remaining to cherish Sam's memory include his wife of 16 years; mother, Nancy Moser of Auxvasse; son, Samuel Aaron Moser of Kansas City, Mo.; daughters, Angela Valent and husband, Mike, of Shawnee, Kan., Kayla Dawn Moser of Kansas City, Mo., and Clara Margaret Moser of the home; sisters, Pamela Hunsaker and husband, Mark, of Columbia, and Lisa Harman and husband, Jeff, of Quincy, Ill., grandchild, Kensington Marleigh Valent, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 16, 2016, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Joel Henley and Pastor Gary Garrett officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be in Auxvasse Cemetery.
