Scott Maxwell

Scott Anthony Maxwell, 46, of Fulton, passed away in Texas on Friday, December 11, 2015. He was born on July 1, 1969, in St. Louis, the son of the late Wilson Raymond Maxwell and the late Joanne Lilian (Holmes) Maxwell. In 1997, Scott was united in marriage to Carmen Maxwell. She survives his passing. Scott proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He loved his job as a Nuclear Reactor Operation Instructor. He was most recently employed at Southern Texas Project. In his spare time, Scott enjoyed traveling and riding his motorcycle. Those remaining to mourn his loss include his wife, Carmen; son, Manuel Maxwell (Heather Martin) of Fulton; daughter, Fanny Berenice Retana; brothers, Dennis Maxwell (Cathy) of St. Louis, and John Holmes of Texas; and sister, Donna Maxwell of Alton, Ill. Along with his parents, Scott was preceded in death by sister, Bonita. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2016, at Maupin Funeral Home with Deacon John Neudecker officiating.
