James Edwin Boone

James Edwin Boone, 69, of Millersburg, was called to his Heavenly home on Tuesday, July 26, 2016. He was born on March 18, 1947, in St. Louis, Mo., the son of the late Charles and Marylee Boone. On March 19, 1995, Jim was united in marriage to Clare (Henke) Boone. She survives his passing. Jim's passion was cars. He was a mechanic by trade and loved to work on and rebuild cars. Jim proudly served his county in the United States Army. He is survived by his wife, Clare of Millersburg; son Derek Boone of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; daughter, Tina Marie Boone of Tenn.; sisters-in-law, Barbara Henke-Christopher (Karl) of Columbia, Mo., and Loretta Zemel of St. Louis; brother-in-law, Joe Henke (Louise) of Columbia; and four grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Along with his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his brother, Glenn Boone. Mass of Christian Burial was held at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton following his passing.
