Cecil Daniel Sessler

Cecil Daniel Sessler, 71, of Richmond, Va., passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2014, in Virginia. He was born July 17, 1942, in Williamsburg, Mo., to the late Paul W. Sessler and the late Thelma Jane (Newson) Sessler. Cecil was united in marriage to Janet Powers on October 16, 1965, she survives. Cecil worked as a Machinist for the telephone company and enjoyed car racing and traveling. Survivors include: one son, Daniel (Dan) Sessler of Richmond, Va.; one brother, John (Debbie) Sessler of Auxvasse, Mo.; two sisters, Carol (Jack) Giacona of Levingston, Texas and Mary (Sis) Reid of Columbia, Mo. and step-mother, Esther Levings of Auxvasse, Mo; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Paul E., Leon, Joe and Phillip Sessler; one sister-in-law, Mary Sessler and one brother-in-law, Sidney Reid. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
