Richard Travis Maddox

Richard Travis Maddox, 37, of Fulton, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 22, 2013. He was born June 22, 1976, in Columbia, the son of Shirley (Williamson) Maddox and the late Richard "Dickie" Maddox. Travis was a talented artist, taxidermist, and fisherman. He was also a successful entrepreneur who started several businesses, including Show-Me Environmental. Travis was employed at Mid-America Pre-Cast. In addition to his mother, Travis will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his daughter, Brooklyn Avery Maddox of Fulton; one sister, Tonya Maddox Cupp and husband Andrew of Indianapolis, Ind.; and one niece, Laney Cupp of Indianapolis, Ind. In addition to his father, Travis was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dick and Estella. A private memorial service was held at the family home.
