Alvin Busker

Alvin C. Busker, 83, of Fulton, passed from this life on Tuesday, January 29, 2013, at the Missouri Veteran's Home in Mexico. He was born September 12, 1929, in Centertown, Mo., the son of the late Irvin and Francis (Kubli) Busker. He was united in marriage to Christa Burg"°zy on August 13, 1954, in Stuttgart, Germany. She survives at their home. Al proudly served his country as a Corporal in the United States Army from 1952 until 1954. He then served in the Reserves until 1960. He worked as a truck driver for Callaway County Road and Bridge Department for 22 years until his retirement in 1993. He enjoyed coon hunting and running trot lines. Al is survived by his wife of 58 years, Christa; two sons, Alvin Dale Busker and his wife Jane of Fulton, and Darren Busker of Fulton; daughter Linda Humphrey and husband Tom of Mokane; sister, Fern Busker of Marshall, Mo.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Raymond Busker; and daughter-in-law Tammy Busker. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, February 1, 2013, at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Hams Prairie Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
