Donneita Lynn (Livers) Hightshoe, 52, of Vandalia, passed away Friday, January 25, 2013, at University of Columbia Hospital, after a long battle with cancer. She passed peacefully. She was born April 5, 1960, in Mexico, the daughter of the late George E. Livers and Patricia (Shaw) Bouchard of Farber. On May 27, 2000, she was united in marriage to Bill Hightshoe, who survives at their home. Donneita was a member of Laddonia Baptist Church. She enjoyed camping, fishing, road trips, and loved rock hunting. One of her biggest pleasures in life was being with Bill and her children and having family dinners. Donneita was most grateful for the care that she received for the last year by her family and friends. In addition to her mother and husband, Donneita will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her son, Robert E. Seiger (Melody) of Laddonia; one daughter, Adriane Seiger Blumer of Thompson; one step-son, Bryan Kemp (Ashlei) of Columbia; three grandchildren, Amber, Ashlyn, and Halee; one brother, Ed Livers of Farber; one grandmother, Onieta Shaw; two special children, Terry Seiger and Patricia Seiger; and three special friends, Gail Kuda, Genny Cunningham, and Nancy Maiden. In addition to her father, Donneita was preceded in death by her step-father, Robert Bouchard; and her grandfather, Orlee Shaw. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 29, 2013, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton, with Reverend Dr. Ron Baker officiating. Entombment will be held at Callaway Memorial Garden Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, January 28, 2013, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton.
