Earl Adrian Peery, 87, of Fulton, passed away and went to be with our Lord Jesus on Saturday, January 12, 2013, at his home with his wife and children by his side. He was born October 8, 1925, in Steedman, the son of the late Charles Baxter Peery and the late Grace Belle (Dillion) Peery. In 1946, Earl was united in marriage to Pauline Helen (O'Neal) Peery, who survives his passing at the home. Earl retired from Harbison-Walker Refractories after 31 years of service. He worked at a shoe factory where he met his bride in the early years of his life. Earl enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family and friends. He worshiped our Lord Jesus at New Hope Baptist Church and First Assembly of God in Fulton. In addition to his wife of 67 years, Earl will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by three sons, James Peery and friend Becky of Hannibal, Charlie Peery and wife Shirley of Fulton, and Donnie Peery and wife Dottie of Fulton; one daughter, Carol David and husband Gene of Fulton; 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Earl was preceded in death by two sons, David Peery and Elmer Ray Peery; three sisters; and one brother. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Reverend Mike Haldeman and Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. Interment will be held at Callaway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 15, 2013, also at Maupin Funeral Home.
