Emmett L Pendergras

Emmett L. Pendergras, 55, of Fulton, passed away Monday, February 25, 2013, at Callaway Community Hospital. He was born May 11, 1957, the son of the late Emmett H. and Zanovia (Lakusta) Pendergras. On June 5, 1993, he was united in marriage to Leta Ellen Salmons. She survives at their home. Along with his wife, Emmett is survived by one son, Emmett L. Pendergras II and wife Sherri of Lincoln, Neb.; one daughter, Heather Pendergras of Fulton, one brother, William Pendergrass of Edmonton, Alberta; one sister, Barbara Stiles of St. Joseph, Mo.; and four grandchildren, Christian and Gracie Pendergras of Lincoln, Neb., and Emily and Emmett Pendergras III of St. Joseph. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 1, 2013, at Debo Funeral Home with Reverend Walter Lockhart officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. on Thursday, February 28, 2013, at the funeral home.
