Brenda Lee Gallatin

Brenda Lee Gallatin, 49, formerly of Fulton, passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2012, at the New Florence Nursing Care Center. She was born December 26th, 1962, in Bedford. She was the youngest daughter of Forest Gary Voyles and Verna May (Jackie) Voyles. She attended nursing school in Columbia to become an LPN. She later went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Social Work from William Woods University in Fulton. She worked with families and at risk children helping numerous individuals. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, friends, and her quiet time reading. Brenda touched so many lives with her love, laughter and smile. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by: both her mother and father, and an infant brother. She is survived by: her eldest daughter, April Gallatin; granddaughter, Jasmine Gallatin Peak of Jefferson City; her youngest daughter, Lynlee Gallatin of New Florence; grandchildren, Emilia and Matthew; one sister, Verna Joe Klepac of Jonesburg; and one brother, Dell Ray Voyles and wife Kim of Auxvasse. Memorial services will be held at the Southside Baptist Church in Fulton on Thursday September 13, 2012, at 6 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Southside Baptist Church.
