Dawna LeAnn Martin, 46, of Fulton, was called home on Friday, November 16, 2012. She was born February 10, 1966, in Callaway County, to David R. Martin and the late Shirley Dolman. Dawna was of the Christian faith. She worked for Missouri Department of Transportation in Map Printing until her health no longer allowed her to do so. She was a talented artist and enjoyed crafting. Born with a love for animals, she enjoyed horses and her dog, King. Dawna found great pleasure in spending time with her nieces and nephews. She had a kind heart and caring soul that often led her to taking care of others in any way she could. Her loss will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her father, David R. Martin; five sisters, Sandra Vandelicht and her husband Kevin of Fulton, Marsha Pugh and husband Eddie of Williamsburg, Vicki Adams and husband Randy of Fulton, Tamara Russell and husband Ryan of Fulton, and Melissa Dews and husband Chad of Fulton; 11 nieces and nephews, Randy, Jimmy, Corry, Miranda, Ryder, Taran, Maya, Renee, Brandon, Eston, and Evan; and her grandmother, Helen Dolman. She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Dolman; grandfather, S.C. Dolman; and boyfriend, Herb Forrester. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton with Reverend Gary Garrett officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until the time of service.
