Mary Lou Roberts, 91, of Fulton, passed away Monday, November 5, 2012, at Callaway Community Hospital. She was born May 4, 1921, in Maryman, the daughter of the late Joseph Borghardt and the late Lula Mae (Hickam) Borghardt. She was married to Earl C. "Dude" Roberts on November 26, 1941. He preceded her in death October 18, 1982. Mary was a member of the First Christian Church of Fulton. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, country music and spending time with her family and friends. Mary is missed and lovingly remembered by one son, Joe Roberts and friend Debbie Butcher of Holts Summit; one daughter, Kay Hartman and husband Bob of Fulton; five grandchildren, Michael Hall, Missie Albert, Tony Hartman (Brooke), Rachael Schmitz (Jake), and Becky Carter (Jamie); 10 great-grandchildren, Drew Wilson, Shaine Pahl, Alan Pahl, Logan Schmitz, Alyssa Carter, Ashton Hartman, Tanner Schmitz, Brendon Carter, Reagan Schmitz, and Davis Hartman; and one very close friend, Jo Fry. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Paul Borghardt and Joe Borghardt Jr.; and three sisters, Leon Finley, Emm Schulte, and Susie Darter. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday November 7, 2012, at the Callaway Memorial Gardens in Fulton with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating.
