Louetta F. Martin, 70, of Fulton, passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2012, at University Hospital in Columbia. She was born May 17, 1942, in Bluffton, Mo., the daughter of the late August and Nellie (Garriott) Polacek. She was united in marriage to Robert J. Martin, on March 14, 1959, in Fulton. He survives at their home. Louetta worked in the laundry department at Missouri School for the Deaf until retiring in 2000. She enjoyed camping and boat riding. Her greatest joy was found in time spent with her friends and family. Left to cherish Louetta's memory are her husband of 53 years; son, Kevin Martin and his wife Deborah of Fulton; daughters, Brenda Rigdon and Renita Terry, both of Fulton, and Lisa Carlisle and her husband, Allen of Middletown; brother, August Polacek, Jr. of Bluffton; sisters, Dorothy Pierson of New Bloomfield, Donna Schoening and husband, Tom of Holts Summit, Faye Holzhauser and husband, Joe of Portland, and Judy Harrison and husband, Steve of Fulton; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Louetta was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Vernon and Kenneth Polacek; and sister, Helen Rosenmiller. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 3, 2012, at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. Entombment will follow at Callaway Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
