Mary Elizabeth Pauley, 94, of Fulton, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at Fulton Manor Care Center. She was born January 3, 1918, in Pilot Grove, the daughter of the late George E. Perkins and Inez (Bilderback) Perkins. On August 16, 1941, she was united in marriage to Owen "Bud" Pauley, who preceded her in death in October 1994. Mary was a member of the First Baptist Church for 72 years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren and quilting. Mary was a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and a volunteer and supporter of the VA Home in Mexico. She taught Sunday school at the First Baptist Church for 40 years. Mary will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one son, Robert Pauley and wife JenEtta of Fulton; two daughters, Shirley Barrioz of Fulton and Sharon Davis and husband James of Fulton; two brothers, Frances Perkins of Phoenix, Ariz., and George Perkins and wife Delores of Sedalia; one sister, Joan Smith of Sedalia; six grandchildren, Daniel Davis and wife Kristin, Vestina Davis, Jeremy Davis and wife Julie, Sean Barrioz, Keri Alonzo, and Seth Barrioz; three step-grandchildren, Beth Wagner and husband Glenn, Sheila McKeller and husband Rich, and Ina Henry and husband Corey; nine great-grandchildren; and eight step great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by one brother, Henry Perkins. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2012, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Rev. W.D. Lockhart officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service on Saturday also at Maupin Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Callaway Memorial Gardens.
