Helen Talbert, 91, of Fulton, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2012. She was born May 8, 1920, in Fulton, the daughter of the late Ernest Woolery. She was married to Lloyd F. Talbert on April 13, 1941. Mrs. Talbert grew up working in her father's restaurant, Woolery's Cafe, as a waitress. She owned and operated Fulton News Agency with her husband for 43 years in Fulton. Helen loved working with the public and visiting with people. In her past time, she enjoyed reading, taking rides in the country, shopping with family, and spending time with the grandkids. The holidays were always her favorite time of year. Mrs. Talbert was associated with the Methodist Church in Fulton. She is survived by one daughter, Robin Mason of Mulberry, Ark.; five grandchildren, Donna Ford of Fulton, Rebecca Dykhouse of Columbia, Schuyler Simpson of Olathe, Kan., Melissa Morrison-Reyes of Arlington, Va., and Kevin Morrison of Mulberry, Ark.; and six great-grandchildren, Dalten and Jaedon Ford of Fulton, Cullen and Clara Dykhouse of Columbia, and Olivia and Madeline Morrison-Reyes of Arlington, Va. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd F. Talbert; her father, Ernest Woolery; one daughter, Vickie Simpson; and one sister, Ernestine Green. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 22, at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. Burial will follow in Callaway Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
