Erma G. Pierce, 84, of Fulton, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at Presbyterian Manor in Fulton. She was born November 11, 1927, the daughter of Daniel Boone and Goldie Mae (Bruce) Troop. She was united in marriage to William Pierce on June 21, 1945 in Madisonville, Ky. He preceded her in death. Erma attended Southside Baptist Church where she was a member of the Women's Ministry Union. She had worked at McStop in Kingdom City where she was fondly known as "The Fry Queen" and at Dairy Queen. Erma will be fondly remembered by one son, Floyd Daniel Pierce and wife Linda of Yellville, Ark.; daughters, Dolores Thompson and husband Larry of Joplin, Vicki Ary and husband Frank, Merry Lentz, and Anita Harris and husband James Randy, all of Fulton; one brother, Bruce Troop of Florida; one sister, Dorothy Oliver of Kentucky; nine grandchildren, including Melissa Rogers and husband Michael, and Luke Shoemaker of Fulton; and numerous great-grandchildren. Erma's wishes were that her body be donated to science. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 4, 2012, at 11 a.m., at Southside Baptist Church 501 South Business 54, Fulton, MO.
