Dorothy A. Lechner, 77, of Fulton passed away Thursday, April 12, 2012, at her home. She was born May 8, 1934, in Fulton, the daughter of Perry O. and Grace (Landers) Foster. She was united in marriage to Frank A. Lechner on June 29, 1952, in Fulton. He survives. Dorothy worked at International Shoe Factory. She enjoyed flower gardening and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Along with her husband, Dorothy will be lovingly remembered by son, Alfred Lechner; daughters, Mamie Lechner and Linda Palmer and her husband Mike; grandchildren, Hanna and Holden Lechner, Darrel Wilmsmeyer and wife Manda, Melvin Wilmsmeyer, and Donna Ford and her fiancÈ Mike Landers; great-grandchildren, Laci, Levi, Tracy, Audrey, Dalton, Jaedon, Brooke, and Chase; brother, Elmo Foster and his wife Shirley; and sister-in-law, Margaret Foster. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and one sister. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 18th at Callaway Memorial Gardens with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating.
