Shawn Paul Basnett

Shawn Paul Basnett, 36, of Fulton, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2011, at his home. He was born November 29, 1974, in Jefferson City, the son of John Basnett and Anita (Lockett) Atterberry. Shawn was a member of the Heartland Church of the Nazarene. In addition to his parents, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his step-father, Roger Atterberry; two sisters, Shelly Basnett and Kim Basnett; three nieces, Caitlin, Shyan and Shayla; two nephews, Brendon and Zach; three step-brothers, Randy Atterberry, Darrell Atterberry and Richard Atterberry; and one step-sister, Crystal Atterberry. His grandparents, August (Gus) and Anna Mae Maire and Paul Lockett preceded him in death. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2011, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton, with Reverend Gary Garrett officiating. Interment will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery.
