Harold Eugene Case, 77, of Fulton, passed away Monday, May 30, 2011, at his home. He was born April 20, 1934, in Fulton, the son of the late William David Case and Bessie Naomi (Hays) Case. Harold graduated from Fulton High School in 1952. He served in the United States Army from 1953 - 1956, serving 21 months in Germany. After returning from the Army, he attended Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. He was employed by Danuser Machine Company as a production welder for two years, was employed by Fulton State Hospital as an occupational therapist, and later employed at Ovid Bell Press for 23 years as a bindery man. He was a past honorary member of the Kiwanis Club where he served 20 years as scout master of Kiwanis Boy Scout Troop 50. He served as pastor to Richland Christian Church and the Mokane Christian Church for over 20 years. He was a member of the Millersburg Christian Church. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his son, Richard (Ronda) Kidwell of Fulton; five grandchildren, Troy Quigley of Branson, Rickey Kidwell of Fulton, Nicole Kidwell of Branson, Michael Kidwell of Branson and Amber Kidwell of Fulton; nine great-grandchildren, Troy Quigley, II, Daven Quigley, Abby Kidwell, Donavan Quigley, Domanick Kidwell, Courtney Kidwell, Conner Kidwell, Madison Quigley and Brendan Kidwell; three nephews, John Case of Hams Prairie, Fred Case of New Bloomfield and Bob Case of Fulton; a dear friend, Gleenis Elder of Columbia; and his caregiver, Danny Neal of Fulton. His parents; three brothers, William H. Case, Earl D. Case, and Woodrow Case; and two sisters, Naomi Orr and Nadeen Case, preceded him in death. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. on Friday, June 3, 2011, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton, with Pastor Bruce Williamson and Reverend Barbara Gulick officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Friday at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton. Interment will be held at Callaway Memorial Gardens.
