Clarice Ann Godfrey

Clarice Ann Godfrey, 67, of Fulton, Mo., passed away Monday, August 22, 2011, at University Hospital & Clinics. Clarice was born June 24, 1944, in Rowena, Mo., to Marion Lester and Clarice Maude O'Bryan Mann. She was formerly married to Richard Ruble, Gene Shaw, Martin Staton, Dalton Cruse and Terry Godfrey. She was a member of Dripping Spring Christian Church. She was previously employed with State Farm Insurance, Semco, Data Processing and JCPenney. She loved music, and had played the piano at Dripping Spring Church for a number of years. Survivors include three children, Laura Winters of St. Louis, Mo., April Cockrell and husband Jerry Jr. and Randall Shaw, all of Columbia; a brother, Billy Mann of Lentner, Mo.; six grandchildren, Danielle Graef of Gainesville, Fla., Erica Graef of Columbia, Ill., Katelyn Cockrell and Kortney Cockrell, both of Columbia, Mo.; Junelle Shaw of Cuba, N.Y., and Jacob Becker of Fulton. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Larry and Bobby Mann; and a sister, Rosalyn Mann. Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 27, 2011, at Dripping Spring Christian Church, Columbia, Mo., with Rev. Sally Erickson officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until time of the service. Burial will follow at Dripping Spring Cemetery.
