High school volleyball: Fulton 2, Father Tolton 1

COLUMBIA - Senior outside hitter Allison Murphy delivered 12 kills to help spur the Lady Hornets to an 18-25, 25-19 and 25-8 triumph over the Lady Trailblazers on Wednesday night.

Senior outside hitter Taylor Hagens supplied 13 digs and eight aces for Fulton (3-1). Senior setter Kate Larson handed out 12 assists.

"The varsity team fought hard to overcome a loss in the first set," Lady Hornets head coach Tyler Davison said. "Our back row proved themselves to be solid, which allowed our setters to run a smooth and efficient offense."

Fulton dropped the junior varsity match 25-27, 25-18 and 15-4. Sophomore Kauri Henderson tallied six kills and sophomore Teagan Dailey finished with eight digs and 11 assists.

The Lady Hornets lost the freshman match 25-9 and 25-23. Emmy Arney posted four kills and Quiara Walton logged 10 digs.

Fulton hosted Eugene at Roger D. Davis Tournament on Thursday night. Results were not available at press time.

The Lady Hornets host their annual Fulton Tournament on Saturday.
