BELLE — South Callaway senior guard Treysen Gray responded with 25 points as the surging Bulldogs advanced to the championship of the Belle Tournament with an 80-56 blitz of host Belle on Thursday night.
South Callaway (7-9) — wrapping up pool play with a 2-0 record — won its third in a row and fifth in the last six games. The Bulldogs bolted to a 26-9 advantage after one quarter Thursday night and extended it to 44-24 at halftime.
South Callaway owned a comfortable 60-39 lead entering the fourth quarter.
Junior forward Caleb Hall provided 19 points for the Bulldogs and senior guard Dylan Paschang had 17.
South Callaway will play Newburg in the title game at 7:30 tonight.
