Boys' soccer: Boonville 3, Fulton 2

Fortman's goal came off an assist from senior midfielder Erin Brady late in the second half. Freshman defender Dillon Jones then scored a few minutes later on a header off Fortman's corner kick.

"We just ran out of time," Hornets head coach Joel Henley said. "We had plenty of opportunities. We were definitely tired after playing (Monday night), but that can't be an excuse for us.

"We have to continue to come out each night ready to play."
