Hornets soccer team suffers 3-0 NCMC loss to Moberly

The Fulton Hornets soccer team closed out the regular season with a 3-0 North Central Missouri Conference loss to the Moberly Spartans on Thursday night at the high school athletic complex.

Fulton dropped to 2-19 overall and finished NCMC play with a 1-9 mark. Camron Hayes logged two goals and Joshua Price provided one for Moberly.

The Hornets are the third seed for next week's Class 2, District 7 Tournament in Winfield. Fulton squares off against No. 2 seed Winfield in the semifinals at 4 p.m. Tuesday.

In the second semifinal at 6, top-seeded Christian faces No. 4 Elsberry/Silex.
