LADDONIA - Junior center Mikal Meriwether delivered a double-double with a game-high 20 points and 11 rebounds as the Eagles trampled the Trojans in their season opener Monday night.

Meriwether also recorded seven steals and three blocks. Sophomore forward Conner Luper chipped in with nine points and 13 rebounds for MSD, while sophomore guard Hezeki Smoot provided nine points, 10 steals, five rebounds and two blocks.

Sophomore guard Jayden Riordan added nine points, eight rebounds and four steals.

The Eagles travel to New Bloomfield at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11.
