Sophomore Damar Washington caught two touchdown passes and also recorded 12 tackles on defense in the Missouri School for the Deaf Eagles' home loss to the New Mexico School for the Deaf Roadrunners last Saturday.
Sophomore Mikal Merriweather passed for 129 yards and a touchdown, and returned a kickoff for a score for MSD (1-3). Freshman Connor Luper also threw a touchdown pass.
The Eagles play at the Iowa School for the Deaf at 1:45 p.m. Saturday.
