Boys' Tennis: Fulton 7, Hannibal 5

The Fulton Hornets started their season by turning back the Hannibal Pirates in North Central Missouri Conference play at the high school athletic complex Tuesday night.

It was also Rob Fisher's first victory over Hannibal in four years as Fulton's head coach.

"Hannibal is always one of the better teams in the conference, so it was kind of nice to get over the hump and beat a quality opponent," Fisher said. "It's always nice to start out the season on the right foot - I thought everybody played well."
