North Callaway's Reno to take part in Blue-Grey All-American Combine

KINGDOM CITY, Mo. - Adam Reno, who will be a senior this fall with the North Callaway Thunderbirds, will compete Saturday and Sunday in the Blue-Grey All-American Super Combine in Arlington, Texas.

The football combine will be held at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys.

The 6-foot, 210-pound Reno - listed as a running back and defensive back for the combine - earned a spot in the Southwest Regional after attending the Blue-Grey Heartland Regional Combine at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph.

"It's an honor to be selected and I'm looking forward to participating in the combine," Reno said.

Reno topped North Callaway in rushing in the 2016 season with 614 yards (15.7 average) and 12 touchdowns, and also had 23 catches for 414 yards (18.0 average) and three scores. Defensively, he recorded 46 tackles (31 solo, seven for loss), two interceptions and two fumble recoveries.

Reno was a first-team all-Eastern Missouri Conference selection on both offense and defense, and a second-team pick as a punter. He also received Class 2 first-team all-district acclaim on offense by the Missouri Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association.
