Hornet wrestlers topple Kirksville

KIRKSVILLE, Mo. - The Fulton Hornets wrestling team triumphed in seven of the eight contested matches - five by pin - in charging to a decisive 44-18 North Central Missouri Conference victory over Kirksville on Tuesday night.

Fulton raised its season dual record to 7-3 and moved to 2-1 in the NCMC.

"We were very aggressive," Hornets head coach Eric Hudson said. "We almost exclusively did the things we worked on in practice. We had awesome execution out of almost every wrestler tonight.

"The kids looked very good."
