Boys' Basketball: Higbee (JV) 50, Missouri School for Deaf 3

Senior guard Ste'Quan Scott recorded a game-high 17 points and six rebounds in the host MSD Eagles' loss to the Higbee Tigers on Tuesday night.

MSD was in front 14-13 after the first quarter, but Higbee outscored the Eagles 14-2 in the second period and went into halftime with a 27-16 lead. The Tigers widened their advantage to 40-22 by outscoring MSD 13-6 in the third quarter.

Junior guard Dacota Pierson contributed six points for the Eagles, while freshman center Mikal Meriwether had four points and 10 rebounds.

Chandler Crawford topped Higbee with 12 points and Jason Hudson and Josh Morrow provided 10 apiece.

MSD travels to Vienna at 6 tonight.
