Boys' Basketball: Missouri School for Deaf 45, Wisconsin School for Deaf 38

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - The No. 4 seed MSD Eagles took down the No. 2 WSD Firebirds in the third-place game of the Great Plains Schools for the Deaf Tournament on Saturday.

MSD (11-6) led 9-7 after the first quarter, but were outscored 11-8 by WSD in the second period and faced an 18-17 deficit at halftime. The Eagles outscored the Firebirds 12-8 in the third quarter to take a 29-26 advantage.

Senior forward Scotty Percy paced MSD with 16 points and 18 rebounds. Senior point guard Ste'Quan Scott scored 14 points, while freshman center Mikal Meriwether tallied nine points and seven rebounds.

Jerome Payne directed WSD with a game-high 25 points.
