Boys' Basketball: Missouri School for Deaf 54, Bunceton 42

Senior guard Ste'Quan Scott produced a game-high 22 points and also had eight steals to guide the MSD Eagles past the Bunceton Dragons at home Tuesday night.

MSD (9-4) went into halftime with a 29-17 lead and pushed that advantage to 43-23 to start the fourth quarter. The Eagles were able to preserve the win despite being outscored 19-11 over the final 8 minutes.

Scott was one of three players to score in double figures for MSD. Senior guard Marcus Smith supplied 13 points and four steals, while freshman center Mikal Meriwether finished with 10 points and seven rebounds.

Senior forward Scotty Percy added nine points and collected a team-high 13 rebounds for the Eagles.

Blake Petsel and Braydon Doyle both scored 15 points to lead Bunceton.

MSD hosts Chamois at 7:30 p.m. Monday.
